We are hosting a fundraiser at the The Green Parrot, Newtown. This is a free event and we will have some great prizes (50/50s and Raffles) while watching the Eagles. We aim to raise $150,000 to provide our Honor Guard with a new bus. The Green Parrot will donate a revenue portion of event food.

About the event
Please join us for a special fundraising event at The Green Parrot in Newtown. This free community gathering will feature raffles and 50/50 drawings as guests enjoy the Eagles game while supporting a meaningful cause. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to provide the Honor Guard of the Guardians of the National Cemetery with a new, reliable bus. The Green Parrot has generously pledged to donate a portion of event food revenue to support this important effort.
The Guardians of the National Cemetery serve as the sole support committee for Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Our all-volunteer Honor Guard stands ready each day to render final honors for our nation’s veterans, ensuring that every service member is laid to rest with dignity and respect.
Our current bus, which transports and shelters the Honor Guard between services held every 30 minutes, is in poor condition. Its air conditioning and heating systems are no longer…
