Volunteer Opportunities
The Guardians of the National Cemetery rely on dedicated volunteers to support critical missions that honor our veterans.
Opportunities include placement and removal of flags and poles along the Avenue of Flags in preparation for Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies. Attending the Unaccompanied Service to ensure veterans with no family present do not take their final journey alone.
Volunteers are essential to carrying out these programs with dignity, respect, and precision. Each role allows you to directly support the Guardians’ mission to honor those who served our country and preserve their legacy for generations. We are deeply grateful for every volunteer who chooses to serve with us and help sustain these important traditions.
